So the answer is to embrace the disarmament agenda?
It doesn't surprise me to see NewsMax hosting such surrender sentiment.

Ms. Ros-Lehtinen has always been an anti-Castro, tax and spend, anti-gun, liberal Republican. For most of her career in Congress she has managed to run unopposed. During the debate on the Brady Bill before a house committee, then Rep. Charles (Chuckie da Weasel) Schumer remarked that the NRA had the GOP in their pocket. Ros-Lehtinen turned and responded that she would compare her NRA F rating to his any day.
I have not contributed a dime to the GOP since.
In high school, one of my classmates made spending money by trapping rattlesnakes for Bill Haast of "The Serpentarium". He also kept several in fish tanks in his bedroom as pets. We all thought he was a bit crazy. But he said as long as he kept in the front of his mind that they were not bunnies, hamsters, cats, or dogs and treated them as rattlesnakes, he and they would be OK.
Don't think of Republicans as conservatives. Don't think of them as pro-gun. They aren't. They can't be. Just like my classmate's rattlesnakes, they can't be what they aren't. Treat them as self serving lying politicians whos' only goal is to get elected and re-elected.
