Self-Serving Politicians’ Priorities after Scalise Shooting Deserve Strong Gun Owner Response

Babin’s offensive and un-American equal protection-eviscerating scheme puts similar Congressional Carry proposals offered since the baseball practice shooting of Rep. Steve Scalise on steroids, as recent news reports show. [More]
How is voting in special benefits for themselves first, while the rest of us are left in legislative limbo, consistent with securing “the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity”?

Armed American Radio Daily Defense

I'll be joining host Armed American Radio Mark Walters in the 4:00 to 4:30 Eastern slot this afternoon to talk about Congress-only concealed carry. Go to the AAR website to find a station near you or to listen via live stream.

You Know Those People Who Would Rather See You Killed Than Armed?

They evidently wouldn't mind seeing you starve, either. [More]

Skin in the Game

Today's decision means that the Washington Redskins, whose trademark was canceled by the Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) under the provision struck down today, will very likely win their appeal. While the name "Redskins" is surely anachronistic, so are parts of the names like the "United Negro College Fund" and the "National Association for the Advancement of Colored People." Though some people find those names offensive as well, they cannot use the PTO to force their linguistic preferences on others after today's ruling. [More]
So are we now free to find out exactly who those cultural Marxists embedded in the PTO are, and to kick them to the curb?

So Now We Need Commonsense Neighborhood Safety Laws?

As violence spikes, KC will deploy more police officers in problem neighborhoods [More]
If the problem really is the guns, and seeing how heavily armed they are, those neighborhoods are no doubt high NRA member concentration areas.  Unless of course the gun-grabbers and their media allies are demonstrably full of ... beans.

A More Tolerant Brutal Murder

On Monday, they did not release any explanation as to why they weren’t investigating the murder as a hate crime. [More]
Isn't it obvious?

Which one has the shoulder thing that goes up? [More]

To paraphrase Lord Vader, I find the lack of outrage disturbing.

College Instructor: Patriotism Suggests Black Americans Are ‘Uncivilized’ [More]
I'm sorry -- every time some disgruntled Marxist wannabe at the public trough launches into a tirade about race and class struggle prefaced with the word "hegemony," I kind of automatically space out and think about the cricket...

That generally makes more sense than what the hate-consumed loons are blathering on about anyway.

Wake Up and Smell the Coffee

Dispute Over Wrong Drink At Starbucks Ends In Wrestling Match, Stabbing [More]
In fairness, Howard did say "weapons." (I also think it's both point-and-laughable, plus useful to know, that "[a] recent 'Skip Starbucks Saturday' sponsored by a gun-control group had no impact on sales.")

But based on results, some of us would find it more "unsettling and upsetting" to go without. Then again, I'm at my work station sipping from a Red's Trading Post insulated stainless steel mug refilled from a pot that cost less to brew than a "tall" cup filled with overpriced girl coffee. And the guy who owns this joint welcomes armed guests all the time.

That's Why They Call Him 'Dick'

He also obtained an automatic weapon...  [More]
Lie much, Dick?

Just look at the hate and Alinsky Rule 5 contempt dripping from this Dick.

I wonder if he'd fare any better than Jordan...?

Existing Law Requires Gun Owners to Pay for Government’s ‘Mistakes’

[W]hen the government (with unlimited resources) screws up, it makes citizens (who may or may not have had their assets seized or frozen) take them to court. And when government attorneys realize they're going to lose, they back down. But due to “the law,” they are immune from paying attorney fees. [More]
Heads they win, tails you lose.

One Way to Compensate for Reality

The man who was carjacked by the two escaped inmates in Putnam County said he forgives them for what they did to him. [More]
Without them begging his forgiveness and proving their sincerity through real and sustained acts of penitence and restitution, that's as ineffectual as his initial response.

We saw what it took to make them stop.

They could have raped his three-year-old daughter in front of him and he wouldn't have been able to do a damn thing about it.  And he knows it.

That's the way the gungrabbers want all men to be.

Hoist on Her Own Petard

Alyssa Milano has filed a $10 million lawsuit accusing her former business manager of severe misconduct that caused her to spiral into a financial disaster. [More]
Alyssa would have more credibility if she didn't have a history of blaming those who did no wrong for the poor judgment of those who did.

It's ironic that those demanding "common sense gun laws" include the inability to manage finances as an ownership disqualifier.

Here's yet another clue pointing to the reason Mueller is able to do what he's doing -- it's because the best-connected "Republicans" want him to.

We're the Only Ones Disordered Enough

Former Punta Gorda Police Officer Lee Coel has applied for a disability pension for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, which he claims he now suffers after he shot and killed retired librarian Mary Knowlton during shoot/no-shoot “training” held Aug. 9 at the police department ... Coel loaded wadcutters into his .38 caliber revolver instead of blanks before the demonstration... [More]
I don't know if I could live with that. I don't know if I would want to. So I can't fault "Only Ones" exclusivity for his reaction, but only for the fabricated misconception that those like him are more gunworthy than the rest of us.
