Former Fairfield police janitor sentenced to prison for selling guns from evidence room [More]
He had a prison record and they gave him access to it? Seeing as how my "law" isn't what drives policy, you have to ask what kind of negligent or corrupt "leadership"  -- and the two aren't mutually exclusive -- would allow that?

You know, establishing effective secure property procedures just isn't that hard. The state ought to do an audit of at least the past 10 years and see what else has walked out. Because my guess is there are bigger fish than Moppy here.

Assuming there's still a place to audit: Anybody know if the disbanding happened?

You know? I always wondered where those guys who guns out of the trunk of their car get their merchandise. This is a pretty smart scheme. After all, if the guns were used in a crime, you know they're functional.
