EU Threat to Break up U.S. Merits Appropriate Reminder

That such arrogance reflects imperious rejection of the right to self-determination for Europeans, and that Constitutionalists in the U.S. may not welcome foreign globalist subversion, are hardly considerations that sway the type of mentality that believes his place is to dictate and yours is to obey. Either that or the old Eurorummy is drunk again. [More]

The new law gained national attention after Greg Sankey, commissioner of the Southeastern Conference -- the top-tier collegiate sports league in which the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Razorbacks compete -- released a statement earlier this week. In re "the Golden Horde," I don't see vast herds coming my way, but I can envision opportunistic dangerous bands, which is why I view where I have placed myself as the most suppliable, defensible and amenable to mutually advantageous networking. Don't Even Think About It

Later that month, Manchin went on “Morning Joe” — the one show on MSNBC that Trump has been known to watch — to discuss, on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the Newtown school massacre, the need to expand background checks on gun purchases. Within an hour after Manchin was offscreen, his cellphone rang. It was Trump. Manchin was not completely forthcoming about the conversation, but he did tell me that he envisioned “a complete opportunity” for new gun-safety legislation. Unlike with Obama, he said, “no one thinks President Trump would do anything that would take away your gun rights.” [More]
Some of us think he'd try, particularly if it were Fairfax-approved.

After Sandy Hook, a coalition of those primarily concerned with industry image advocated a preemptive surrender gesture under the false mantra that "we have to give them something!" and were testing the waters for consensus. Consider this a follow-up warning.

Project Snitchwalker

We found that ATF officials did not completely and accurately track information related to foreign national CIs, and as a result we were unable to determine an accurate total number of ATF-sponsored foreign national CIs. The inability to efficiently identify these CIs is especially problematic because these CIs often have criminal histories or are involved with criminal organizations, and therefore the risks associated with these CIs remaining in the United States without legal authorization are higher than normal. A Thumb in the Eye

I got this graphic from Phillip Evans.

My first thought on seeing it was to fixate on the word "licensed," but soon grokked it's intended for open carry advocates restricted to concealed carry by the states they live in. It's actually a prety ironic way to make the point that not seeing something doesn't mean it's not there (longtime readers will recall Ravenous Bugblatter Best of Traal comparisons on this).

It's free for personal use to repro for t-shirts, hats and the like.

Be the first on your block to make a hoplophobe sputter in angry impotence, dress you down in indignant rage, or better yet, report you to store management because they say you make them feel afraid (just never enough somehow to keep them from being in your face). I thought of the potential for being swatted by the particularly virulent strain of anti, but that's where using the word "licensed" will act to your benefit when the 911 operator asks what the shirt says.
