The Indisputable Outcome

The latest Rasmussen Reports White House Watch national telephone and online survey of Likely U.S. Voters shows Clinton with 42% support and Trump with 41%. Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson has inched back up to match his high of nine percent (9%), while Green Party nominee Jill Stein remains in last place with two percent (2%).  Another two percent (2%) like some other candidate, and four percent (4%) are undecided. [More]
Polls are likely to differ by a couple percentage points, and they change as events occur and the date approaches, but chances are, reality will end up approximating them within a few percentage points.

And that reality is, with no "value" judgement attached to it, just a standalone truism:

If Trump does not win, Hillary will.

A corollary truism:

Gary Johnson voters have the numbers to affect that outcome more than Jill Stein voters do.

If you wish to disagree with these assertions, bring facts to refute them, not opinions, anecdotes, or candidate or policy critiques. If you wish to disagree with my policy assertions, the place to do that is here.

You wrote, "If Trump does not win, Hillary will." I'm actually surprised that someone with your respect for the Constitution would make this mistake. To win, Clinton must receive a majority in the electoral college, not merely the largest number of votes. If no one gains that majority, which is possible in a race with more than two candidates (and has happened before), then the House of Representatives selects the President from among the top three candidates, as specified in the Twelfth Amendment. It's therefore possible (if unlikely) for Johnson, Stein, or anybody to become President after receiving only a single electoral vote.

Let me try again:

Barring something unforeseen taking either of them out, if Trump does not win Hillary will.

Wanna put money on it?

Joe, are you retarded or just pretending? Can you distinguish between unlikely and *extremely* unlikely? Congress is not going to pick Gary Johnson or the Greenie. It's going to be Trump or Hillary.

Anyway, Johnson-Weld is a gun-grabber traitor phony "Libertarian" ticket. Johnson's an unhinged tyrannical gun squish who throws gift guns in the trash and would force you to bake cakes for gay weddings and take injections at gun point. Former RINO Weld actually banned guns in Massachusetts. Their immigration policies are vastly more nationally suicidal and treasonous even than the Democrats'. They openly intend to dishonor their oath to faithfully execute and defend our immigration laws and borders - our most fundamental national defenses. These bastards can't honestly take the oath of office or even the pledge of allegiance.
