Great Observation

What if the judge had called for deporting all blacks to Africa or putting homosexuals in camps? For some reason, I think we would have seen a different response. [More]
Yeah, I don't think Susan D. Isaacs & Co. would have been so "tolerant" in that case. The point being, no prejudices belong on the bench...

I guess -- just to be sure -- we could always ask...

We may get an answer to that question even if she doesn't directly respond:
An Oregon judge is fighting an investigative panel’s accusation that by declining to perform same-sex weddings on religious grounds, he violated both the state’s constitution and code of conduct for judges.This and other allegations could result in the judge’s suspension or removal from office.
UPDATE: Kevin Starrett of Oregon Firearms Federation tells me Judge Vance Day "was the attorney who successfully argued our case against the Oregon University System when they had a total ban on firearms on their property."
