Expecting or giving state job-based "professional courtesy" special treatment spits in the face of equal protection and violates the spirit of the "No Title of Nobility" proscription. The outrageous "No Action with Agency Discretion" motion spits in the face of citizens expecting professional standards and common courtesy from those hired to serve and protect by honoring their oaths.

Be interesting to see if anyone got the mandatory 45 days in the slammer the "standard plea deal" calls for...

I am baffled. Why didn't they shoot him for repeatedly putting his hands in his pockets? Officer safety trumps all else... right?

They gave him a sweetheart deal. He is allowed to retire and have deferred adjudication if he can keep his nose clean.
