"Progress" to be Made

It Depends on What the Meaning of the Word "Shameful" Is

Do I dare question "progressive" butthurt? [More]

Runaway Purse

Cause and Effect

A study conducted by PLOS ONE attempts to make a correlation between racist Google searches and how that negatively affects the health of the surrounding black community. [More]
Alrighty then.

So does that mean the ones behind the search term hate intend to write a genocide program? Or does it just mean no line of BS is too loopy for those desperately searching for grievances to justify?

We're the Only Ones Mental Enough

The highest-ranking Baltimore police officer in the arrest that led to Freddie Gray's death was hospitalized in April 2012 over mental health concerns for an unknown duration and had his guns confiscated by local sheriff's deputies, according to records from the sheriff's office and court obtained by The Associated Press. I can't help but wonder how a non-Only One would fare...

We're the Only Ones Standing Down Enough

A Maryland sheriff who traveled to Baltimore to help law enforcement stop Monday’s riots told 105.7 The Fan that he was stunned when officers alerted him of the orders to stand down. [More]

"Walmart in Baltimore Refusing Ammo Sales"

I can't say I disagree with them taking it off their shelves. [More]

Unless they are prepared to meet rioters and looters with an overwhelming continuum of up-to-lethal force (and then face the aftermath of that) -- something government enforcers are not prepared to do -- all they would be doing is making themselves a tactical target.

The lesson here is don't wait 'til TSHTF.  And drive somewhere else for it while you still can. And live/do business somewhere else if you can arrange it.

I was somewhat amused at the indignation some slumberers showed during the LA riots when they discovered for the first time all of the infringements in their way...

Welcome to the party, pals.

North to Alaska

I'll be rejoining Michael Dukes today at 11:30 a.m. Eastern to talk about whatever he wants to bring up. I'm sure with the Baltimore riots -- sorry, uprising -- dominating the news, I'll get a chance to say a word about the "progressive" paradox, wherein they decry police abuse and then turn around and support politicians with an "Only Ones" agenda... [Listen]

"Worked Well" for Whom?

But Democratic Gov. Maggie Hassan announced shortly before the vote that she intends to veto the bill, saying New Hampshire’s “current concealed carry permitting law has worked well for nearly a century.” [More]
Didn't politicians used to make similar excuses for slavery and then "separate but equal"?

We are Controlling Transmission.

We will control the horizontal. We will control the vertical. We will control the color narrative. [More]

I've noticed a similar form of narrative-shaping at Examiner.com with the available selection of Getty Images photos we are licensed to select from for the Baltimore riots -- there haven't been many noticeable active violence and looting photos to choose from, but plenty of pictures that include white protesters, plenty of pictures of cops in riot gear, plenty of pictures of politicians speaking, and plenty of pictures of residents cleaning up the damage.
