Virginia’s McAuliffe proposes 2A infringements on Bill of Rights Day

“As a gun owner and a supporter of the Second Amendment, Governor McAuliffe believes in the right to bear arms,” McAuliffe’s Bill of Rights Day media release disingenuously insists. [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner report notes "progressive" Opposite Day actions that don't even try to mask the hostile contempt for freedom. That's intentional.

Mea Culpa

Good. Saves me from having to weigh in and vigorously speak out on Stephen's behalf -- particularly by rebutting baseless ad hominem attacks -- which I was planning on doing this week. [More]

Vigilante Justice

No, if it had been that, the captors would have held an impromptu trial, pronounced them guilty, and strung them up. [More]

This was citizens behaving the way they are supposed to in defense of self and community. You disarmed UK subjects at The Daily Mail wouldn't know anything about that.

Funny. It's not like PBS isn't a haven for "progressives." The poll must have come out on the day Bloomberg's 90% does their hair or something... [More]

Rabble-Rousers and Nazis!

Are they really? Or is that simply the way the establishment and its servile media always paint threats to ruling class plans? [More]

How dare they want their country to not be taken over!  Why, that seems as hate-motivated a sentiment as "to ourselves and our Posterity"!!!

I know plenty of "anti-government extremists" and "racists."  They are, of course, neither, but instead are targets of "progressive" Opposite Day projection and lies.

No doubt an unsavory element exists among the protestors, bolstered by provocateurs, just as it does here, but what about "average" people seeing everything they've worked and paid for being used against them by usurpers and betrayers?

Zooey Deschanel hit by lawsuit from horse owner who claims actress overworked a leased stallion in violation of contract [More]
Doesn't surprise me.

You can tell a lot about how cruel a person is by how hard they try to rein in the rights of others, and how hard they like to use the whip to dominate.

Too bad ol' Dapple Gray didn't buck New Girl off and plant a hoof up her silly, privileged hindquarters.

Speaking of which, she sure uses the "F" word a lot in public statements.  "Hey everybody, look at me! I'm not a classless, insulated narcissist, I'm hip and edgy!"

A Reader Reports on Olympia

Good narrative. It helps give those of us who were not there an accurate impression of what it was like.  And the bit about trying to set Mike up, including his explanatory addendum at the end, is telling. [More]

I noticed Mike also linked to some "progressive" coverage of the event in another post. When I read some of the furious insults from comment posters at the "Raw Story" link, it's not only quite obvious how much they hate people like Mike, like me, and hopefully like you, but it suggests as a metaphor the obscene, terrified and murderous rage exhibited by the demons in "The Exorcist" whenever the priests got close and hit a nerve. It's not my intent to offer an admittedly unqualified theological impression here, but the thought does strike that John 8:44 seems as good an explanation as any for such abominations, although I wouldn't argue with a secular diagnosis of "psychotic," either.

He is expected to receive a five-day suspension without pay for actions including inappropriate remarks he made to employees of a Key West cupcake store that "gave the impression he had done something purposely wrong to cause Mr. Eimers' death." [More]
What better place for Ding Dongs to impress than at a cupcake store?  Besides, it's not like that attitude should give anyone cause for concern...
