GRE Round Up for July 11

A Civil Proceeeding

But they don't want to see ATF/DOJ culprits prosecuted criminally? [Read]

What's up with that?

Oh.

DoJ proceeds with long gun reporting requirement

It appears the first veil has dropped and a strategy of counterpunching/"best defense is a strong offense" is being adopted-along with continued stonewalling and interference being run by the Elijah Cummings/media alliance. And there is no mention of multiple long guns sales to Project Gunwalker-directed straw purchasers, and what effect exposing the complete truth on that operation would have on trafficking and violent crime. I'll Just Bet...

Left unsaid on the click-through caption: "...heroin smoke in its face."

Project Spookwalker

The acting head of ATF (the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives) has seemingly blown the cover of both DEA and FBI informant operations in order to spare his own neck and to deflect blame away from a badly flawed operation undertaken by his own agency. [More]

Questions: What does Justice tell Issa—they can’t share information about ongoing investigations?   So to save his own career neck, did Melson put real ones on the block by stoking/confirming bad guy suspicions?

Spread the word on this, OK? Nobody else is doing a daily exclusive gun rights broadcast in a major market during morning drive time, and if this works, it could not only create an opportunity to spread to other markets, but also open doors for efforts by others.  We complain our voice is not heard in the media--here we've got a foot in the door at an NBC affiliate station to promote a full-blown no compromise message.  Just a few short months ago I certainly would never have predicted I'd see that happen--or that I'd be a  part of it.

Lineup subject to change without notice.
