A Take Out Order

Sharron Angle Slips, Again Says She Wants To 'Take Out' Harry Reid [More]
What the hell is wrong with her?

Doesn't she know that the acceptable "progressive" vernacular for such sentiments is "snuff out"?

Sheesh!

Promising Results?

It used to be a given on the street: Get caught with an illegal gun, go to jail.

But under a new program in Birmingham -- one initially derided by some officers as a "hug a thug" rehabilitation effort -- there is another option: Gun Court. [More]
But what if you're not "a thug"--and who the hell are "Only Ones" to be tossing that term around anyway? What if you're a human being who knows you have an unalienable right to keep and bear arms, that no one has true moral authority to grant or withhold "permission," and that the entire concept of "gun restrictions" against anyone able to move freely through society--that is, anyone not confined to a controlled custodial situation because they have been adjudicated a danger to others--is a fraudulent assault on Liberty...?

I guess it all depends on how you look at things.

Some--the "enforce existing gun laws" crowd--see a promise.

Others of us see a threat, realizing that's exactly what the government was doing at Ruby Ridge and Waco.

Why Not Just Give 'em What They Want?

While people should still act menacing if they see a coyote, they should avoid ones that look sick or mangy, Connors said. If faced with a violent one, you should "make yourself bigger," and "back away slowly," he said. [More]
And...trust your child's life in that circumstance to a hoplophobe with an air horn?

We're the Only Ones "All in the Family" Enough

Worthy alleged that Calhoun displayed a handgun and forced the victim to perform multiple sex acts, and beat the victim with a belt about her body and choked her. [More]
Sounds like he sure knows how to court a gal.

Besides, how are we gonna know if she's worthy if her own kinfolk can't vouch for her?

And it's nice to see the judge is Jolly.

We're the Only Ones Contradicted Enough

Witnesses Contradict Police Account of Fatal Shooting [More]
Well there's a conundrum: who is more credible? Chicago "Only Ones"--or the citizens who vote for Chicago politicians?

Forget it Jake, it's Chi-Town.

We're the Only Ones Responding at Break-Neck Speed Enough

World War II veteran Daniel J. Daley, 84, suffered a broken neck and is in critical condition at Florida Hospital Orlando, said his son, Greg Daley. [More]
Before anybody jumps in with a criticism about appropriate force and about measured responses, be prepared to answer how else you expect us to get him in a position where we can laugh at him when we dump him out of his wheelchair?

[Via FFFW]

We're the Only Ones Not Laughing Enough

Back in 2009, Cpl. Steven Dickey sued Gannett Co. and Deeson, saying the reporter selectively edited video to make it appear the officer was laughing at quadriplegic jail inmate Brian Sterner when he was dumped from a wheelchair. [More]
Outrageous! Everyone knows dumping quadriplegics from wheelchairs is solemn and serious business!

We've discussed this before...and we weren't laughing then, either.

I Had a Dream!

I looked around the room and saw an NRA poster on the wall and several Uzis with full clips lying on a table without trigger locks. I also noticed I had a Glock holstered on my belt beneath the white robe. [More]
See, if you're a gun owner and you're not a "progressive," you're a Klansman.

Richard Latimer said it, so it must be true. And we can see for ourselves how wise and truthful he is.

We're the Only Ones Watching Your Six Enough

Not only watching it, but apparently covering it with our muzzle while forgetting that all guns are always loaded and the booger hook needs to stay off the bang switch...

We're the Only Ones Slideshown Enough

This is probably the best rebuttal tool for VPC's "Concealed Carry Killers" smear campaign I've seen. [Watch]

Yeah, cops are the "Only Ones" we can trust with guns.

One Simple Way

You know, infringe on the right of the people to be able to purchase politically incorrect firearms. That'll show those Mexican drug lords! [Read]

Wretched Marxist subversi...I mean, "New York Democrat" Eliot L. Engel said it, I believe it, that settles it.

And best of all:
A return to enforcement of the import ban requires no legislative action...
So we can just do it. And you have no say in the matter!

Simple Eliot here might be surprised at what else doesn't require legislative action.

One point of order--BATFU says:
Non-sporting firearms are still prohibited from importation under sections 922(l) and 925(d)(3) of the GCA. Because the vast majority of SAWs are nonsporting, they generally cannot be imported.
So the only conclusion I can draw is, what...?

I confess I don't really understand arcane BATFU infringements. From what I've seen, they don't, either. We're apparently supposed to find out by surprise when the kill team knocks our door in.

It is the simplest way, you know.

We'll Always Have Paris

Not that I care about this twit's drug use, but it would be nice if the rest of us could lie to investigators and not become "prohibited persons." [Read]

The old pH Factor is really manifesting itself in this one. At this writing, 11,763 of our countrymen have time to weigh in on this vital issue of our times.

A lot of people are going to be simply astonished if they ever find themselves really on their own.

I like to think if I'd been blessed with a daughter, I'd have encouraged her to explore options for developing interests and growth with things like BB guns and microscopes and...

I see the endless stream of Miley Cyrus backpacks and Twilight nonsense and all the mindless, materialistic, vain and vacuous commercial messages aimed at girls in this country and wonder what kind of idiot parent would encourage and abet that--and what kind of sometimes just greedy, sometimes calculated evil minds would exploit it.

South Park nails it.

We're the Only Ones Grounding You Enough

On Monday, St. Paul police were once again checking out reports of strange lights when they found Sawka flying his kites. They cited him for disorderly conduct, public nuisance and being in a park after hours. [More]
Yeah, it's not like we easily-spooked and bamboozled primitives are capable of looking at it, thinking it's neat, and maybe investigating things ourselves if we're really all that curious...

This is a job for "law enforcement"!

And, of course, if he didn't obey, "established department protocols" along with the requisite thunderbolts would come into play.

Put the kite down, Franklin, and come along quietly!

Is Ike Skelton 'a steadfast supporter of freedom'?

But the thing is, NRA's Cox didn't describe Skelton in terms confined to just that one issue. He called him "a steadfast supporter of freedom."

Shall we test that? [More]

Today's Gun Rights Examiner column notes that all depends on the meaning of the word "steadfast."

And "supporter."

And "freedom."
