We're the Only Ones Dropped Enough

“Lab tests showed the gun had been wiped clean,” reports the St. Petersburg Times. “No fingerprints were on it — not Victor’s, not anyone’s.” Either the mortally wounded teenager — despite being nearly cut in half by Ard’s cruiser — managed to wipe the gun clean in the seconds before he died, or Ard planted a “drop gun” to provide a retroactive pretext for his pursuit of the teenager.

After seeing the video, an investigator for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement asked Ard if he had planted the gun. The subject was promptly dropped when Ard denied that he had done so. [More]

No need to wonder what the cop was doing for the 40 seconds the dashcam showed him hunkering down by the body. Despite no evidence that he committed any crime and a life history that suggests he was an OK kid, the dead boy got what was coming to him and the officer followed protocol.

Just ask the judge.

Why We Must Disarm You and Me

Or we could just ban Turkish weddings.

If it will save one life. For the children.

We're the Only Ones "Bearing" Arms Enough

Unless you're a trained cop, you will not be able to pull your gun out, aim, and shoot it dead with the fear of a charging Grizzly Bear. [More]
Good grief. Until now, I hadn't realized that this was also among the magic "Only Ones" powers conveyed by the amulet and costume.

Funny. I just got done talking about parks.

If you think it will do any good, go on over there and see if you can make any headway--probably not with the author, but perhaps there are some open minds in his readership who will be receptive to arguments that aren't, you know, stupid...

A Walk in the Park

YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, Wyo. — An escaped killer with a handgun and a hitchhiking sign expressed relief at his capture on Monday after 10 days on the run, while authorities searched to the north of this tourist-packed park for a second fugitive and his female accomplice, a self-styled "Bonnie and Clyde." [More]
But..but...but...we don't need guns in parks...so it's a good thing he never actually apparently crossed the boundary.

And thank goodness for that, because no one has done an environmental impact study...

We're the Only Ones "Gun Nutty" Enough

The NYPD has suspended or revoked more than two dozen pistol licenses of retired cops whose names surfaced in an ongoing federal corruption probe, first reported in yesterday's Post, targeting crooked lawyers and psychiatrists who helped the former Finest obtain Social Security disability benefits by feigning mental illness, sources said. [More]
Yeah--faking they're crazy--talk about a sure sign that someone has it all together...

We're the Only Ones Not to be Second-Guessed Enough

Four cops - one in uniform, several in plainclothes with badges displayed - who were approaching the fight from several directions responded with a volley of 46 shots, likely killing one of the fighters, wounding the second 21 times and striking three civilians and two officers.

Pending the outcome of investigations by the NYPD and the Manhattan district attorney's office, the cops are not to be second-guessed. [More]
At least not by the authority worshiping "Authorized Journalists" of the New York Daily News.

In the Best Interests

WHA Executive Director Frederick Purnell Sr. said an outright ban still would be in the best interest of public safety...[More]
Because nothing says "public safety" like a disarmed victim pool, right, Frederick...?

We're the Only Ones Doing Laps Enough

A federal narcotics agent was nabbed Tuesday for having a stash of child porn on a personal laptop he used for work, law enforcement sources said. [More]
Yeah, it sounds like his laptop was pretty personal...

Naomi Campbell 'blood diamond' scandal brings out other famous anti-gunners

First we have Campbell herself. Physically abusive to the help, she nonetheless "lent her name to the magazine Marie-Claire's anti-gun efforts, when they 'asked celebrities...to join us in our campaign for sensible gun laws.'" And naturally, she joins other super-rich celebrities in being a big fan of Marxist strongman Hugo Chavez. [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner column notes people like us just never get invited to all the right parties...

You could help change all that if you shared the link with enough people...
