Andy Caldwell Show Appearance

I'll be discussing this bill tonight at 7:00-7:30 pm EST 7:30-8:00 pm EST on the Andy Caldwell Show (adjust for your time zone). Click here and then click the banner to listen live.

UPDATE:
Just got off the phone with Andy--we pre-recorded the segment. Please note time change.

I may have done a verbal slip assuming the bill would also ban someone from buying ammo out of state and bringing it in. It would preclude internet/mail order sales, or at least require the transfer to be done through a dealer, which would make it prohibitive. Such is the nature of live radio and responding spontaneously to questions on arcane bills that make no damn sense in the first place..

AZ Governor Candidate Hugh Kealer Volunteers Answers to Gun Rights Questionnaire

The gun rights political questionnaire may be taking on a life of its own. Not only am I get responses to inquiries from an increasing number of races, I have just had a candidate approach me and volunteer answers.

Today's second Gun Rights Examiner column marks a first.

Candidates wanting to prove to us how strong they are on RKBA--and making public statements that could be used brought up later--isn't a cure-all. By the same token, it's a pretty good sign.

Tell a friend? Because nobody else is doing this, and look what's been generated so far.

Paper Trail

Yes, it has come to this: The Buttwipe Nazis.

I wonder what the special government enforcement unit would be called if they get their way? I'm open to suggestions for acronyms and names in "Comments."

Tim Spring: People in life have not been kind to you, have they? Perhaps try better personal hygiene and you won't be such an uptight sphincter? Or at least won't itch so much?

Still, who would want to use paper made from old growth forests when quilted pads woven from spotted owl feathers make for such a more luxurious experience?

Good grief.

Did you know that Dick Wilson not only played Mr. Whipple on the Charmin commercials, but also Captain Gruber on "Hogan's Heroes"? And they say there are no coincidences.

Wii're the Only Ones With Our Virtual Balls in the Gutter Enough

A Polk County sheriff's detective cataloging evidence repeatedly put down her work and picked up a Wii remote to bowl. When she hit two strikes in a row, she raised her arms above her head, jumping and kicking.

While a female detective lifted a nearby couch looking for evidence, another sheriff's detective focused on pin action.

But detectives with the Polk County Sheriff's Office, the Auburndale, Lakeland and Winter Haven police departments did not know that a wireless security camera connected to a computer inside Difalco's home was recording their activity. [More]

Because "Only Ones" are just so much better than you in every way. I wonder if they helped themselves to whatever was in the fridge?

And the Swarming Continues...

The U.S. Attorney's Office announced charges against Colosimo's Inc. after business hours Tuesday. A man who answered the phone at the business said "What can I say?" to a reporter seeking comment and eventually hung up. Owner James Colosimo has previously said he follows all laws in his business. Fighting the Swarm

I just received the following forwarded email:
Fwd: 50% off on receivers from KT
From: Gary Marbut-MSSA

Dear MSSA Friends,

Rick, owner of KT Ordnance in Dillon, needs to raise funds to pay off legal bills from when he was harassed by the BATFE (no charges were ever filed).

To raise funds, he's selling his 80% receivers at a 50% discount. 80% receivers are incomplete, so they are not regulated as "firearms." You would have to drill some holes or do some other machine work to finish these receivers, then add other parts such as barrels and lockwork to make a working firearm. You may finish these only for yourself, but it is not legal (as I understand it) to resell these or to, without a federal manufacturer's license, be in the business of making and selling finished firearms. If you buy for cash, there is no paper trail on these receivers.

See Rick's Website or Google "80% firearms" to learn more about the legalities and process for turning these 80% receivers into working firearms. Call Rick if you have any questions.

Here is Rick's offer:

==================

KT Ordnance is running a special on all our 80% receivers (less the P-50) of 1/2 price. We have 1911's, AR-15's AR-10's and MK-1's.

Use promotional code: "Molon Labe" to receive your 50% discount.

At these prices, buy one for a Christmas present for the "tinkerer" you know. You can never have too many firearms. ;-)

You can order here:
http://www.ktordnance.com/kto/
Or mail in your order (address below).

Thank you.

Do the words "and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substance" ring a bell...?

They're counting on the disparity of resources to crush us into submission.

Will Gov. Schwarzenegger Sign Ammo Control Bill?

It will, of course, not stop one gangbanger from getting a gun or getting ammunition for it. They have networks all over the country. If anything, it will increase crime by this very dangerous segment, which will now have lucrative incentives for boosting outside the law supply chain activities.

What it will also do is create further economic hardships for and harassment of people who continue to endure in-your-face infringements from politicians who hate everything they stand for. Which is part of the intent. [More]
